UN Women is the UN organization dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. A global champion for women and girls, UN Women was established to accelerate progress on meeting their needs worldwide. LAMID assisted UNIFEM to plan and organize a highly visible top women entrepreneurs’ forum for leading female entrepreneurs in different sectors. This partnership empowered the women in attendance to better manage their already existing businesses as well as remain on top of the competition that exists in the industry.
